Nigeria Police Promises Adequate Security During Elections

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Frank Mba says the current IGP is committed to the on going reforms initiated in the Nigeria Police.

Mba in a tweet on the Force Official Handle; @PoliceNG reassured Nigerians of the IGP ‘s resolve to ensure a safe, secured and peaceful environment for the elections.

The FPRO also promised that the Police will provide adequate security for all INEC staff, and Electoral materials, safety of political actors and most especially the electorate.

He also pledged that the Nigeria Police will be professional, impartial and guided by the law in the forthcoming elections.

ACP Frank Mba restated the sincerity of the leadership of the Force and the commitment to service to the Nigerian people.

In his words,” Our loyalty is to the Constitution, laws of the Federation and the Nigerian people. We are paid with tax payers money so our loyalty is to the people.”
