Elegance and Style came to the fore at the weekend at the unveiling of a designer handbag, by TPS Luxury in honour of Hajia Ireti Kingibe.
The event was the 5th anniversary of TPS Luxury a brand and brainchild of Princess ‘Debo Odutola that prides itself as the connoisseur of elegance.
Princess Odutola in her opening remarks, said TPS Luxury came into existence on the 14th of July, 2013, with a vision to take ethnic look to a more sophisticated height and in order to celebrate the Nigerian made products, TPS Luxury have named the bags after Nigerian women who have excelled in public and private practices.
She went on further to say that the day was specially earmarked celebrate a woman who is helping to grow the Brand buy buying the handbags and introducing other high end customers to the TPS Brand and so the occasion called for creating a specific style and design, naming it after Hajia Ireti Kingibe.
Reacting to this gesture, hajia Ireti Kingibe said “the truth is that Princess’s bags can hold their own anywhere in the world because each time I am carrying her bag, I feel that I am carrying more not less of what other international brands offer, nobody can promote you better than you can promote yourself so if we as Nigerians do not appreciate our own talent how do we expect other people to appreciate us” she said.
The HIK (Hajia Ireti Kingibe) design comes in embossed genuine leather, mixed with African Print and Silk fabric, quilted and stitched meticulously. It is punctuated by the Luxe Rose Gold hardware and a chain tote strap wrapped with scarf.
The event held at the Pearl Garden Chinese Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos.
